PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vibrating piece, a vibrator, oscillator, electronic equipment and a method for manufacturing the vibrating piece in which a CI value is decreased by improving electric field efficiency in a connection part without driving up production cost. SOLUTION: The vibrating piece comprises a base 110 and vibrating arms 121 and 122 protruding from the base. Through holes 123 and 124 are formed in the vibrating arms. In the through holes, connection parts 125 and 126 for reinforcing rigidity are formed. In the connection parts, grooves 125a and 126a are formed. In this way, the vibrating piece 100 is constituted.
