PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a windshield for vehicles for a head up display device. SOLUTION: This windshield is formed by holding a transparent adhesive intermediate layer between an outer sheet and inner sheet of the windshield glass, in which the adhesive sheet having a sectional shape of a thickness uniform at least to 20% of the region beginning from the top end of the layer to an image region for display and a sectional shape of the thickness of the prescribed wedge shape up to the base end of the intermediate layer through the image region is used for the above intermediate layer.
