PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical scanner, an image writing device and an image reader which are made very accurate by an optical element supporting member having light and simple structure, having high rigidity and capable of restraining vibration caused by impact. SOLUTION: Bending parts 41C are provided at both ends of plate material 41A constituting a supporting member 41 for supporting an optical element, and a vibration preventing member 42 is press-fit in a recessed part formed by the bending part 41C.
