摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To confirm seal integrity without requiring large works by monitoring the inner pressure of a spent nuclear fuel storage vessel from outside. SOLUTION: One of or both of a detection means with vibration for monitoring inner pressure from outside the vessel by attaching a vibration sensor 13 to the spent nuclear fuel storage vessel (canister) 11, exciting at an excitation point, and catching inner pressure variation caused upon loss of seal as variation of frequency, and a detection means using differential pressure by placing another sealed vessel in the canister, and detecting volume variation of individual sealed vessel corresponding to the pressure variation in the canister from outside are provided. By adding the temperature variation in the canister sealing spent nuclear fuel for simultaneously inputting and analyzing, the seal integrity is confirmed.
