PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent illegal unlocking by inserting a wire or the like from outdoor side. SOLUTION: A thumb turn 1 is equipped with a thumb turn shaft 8 for inputting a turning operation force to a lock box mechanism, a cylindrical support portion 2 supporting the thumb turn shaft 8 in a freely turning manner and fixing it to the side of an indoor surface 40a of a door 40, an almost flange- shaped turning disc plate 20 turning together with the thumb turn shaft 8 installed to the thumb turn shaft 8, and a pick-up means 26 holding the turning disc 20 between a pick-up portion 27 and a collar portion 31. The pick-up portion 27 and the collar portion 31 is inserted to the thumb turn and is freely rotatable relative to the thumb turn shaft 8. The pick-up portion 27 has a cubic shape with the surface 27a formed almost to a spherical shape. The collar portion 31 has a conical shape with its cross section shrunk in diameter from the turning disc 20 to the cylindrical support portion.
