PURPOSE: A sensor front end having phase coding ability is provided to be capable of reducing the fabrication cost, size, and weight of the sensor, and improving function and reliability. CONSTITUTION: A controller(104) is used for providing a plurality of control signals in order to secure the operation and adequate timing for several devices of a sensor front end(100). The sensor front end is capable of transmitting a phase modified sensor signal(121) by using an antenna(102), coherently receiving a reflected signal(123), and carrying out the down converting process in order to additionally transforming the reflected signal into a baseband video-signal. A transceiver(106) receives two control signal from the controller. At this time, the first control signal is transmitting/receiving control signal(101) and the second control signal is an I/Q(In-phase/Quadrature) signal(115) for deciding whether a sensor signal is in-phase signal or a quadrature signal.
