PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicle seat which can securely support a plane shape body and give desired support feeling by external force regardless of the posture of a sitting user. SOLUTION: This vehicle seat has a seat-back 2 to be the backrest for a sitting user constituted by equipping at least a seat-back frame 5 with an opening 6 at the center and a plane shape body 14 elastically placed on the seat-back frame 5 to cover the opening 6 of the seat-back frame 5. The plane shape body 14 is pivotally supported longitudinally movable on an almost middle part in the vertical direction of the plane shape body 14 by a hinge mechanism 19. An air mat 29 with controllable inflation volume is placed by the hinge mechanism 19 of the plane shape body 14 onto the upper or lower front side to enable the plane shape body to be pushed out forward.
