SOLUTION: The invention includes a Spongiobacter nickelotolerans 00P-Ni033-1-1-2 strain and its relative strain and a method of recovery for nickel which adds the strains to an environment including the nickel, accumulating the nickel in the environment into the fungus body and then recovering the strains.
