PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily and freely set the height of a picking apparatus of a traveling tea picking machine. SOLUTION: The picking apparatus is vertically movable by power, a scale showing the height is attached to the machine body, and an indicator vertically moving along the scale is attached to the picking apparatus to designate the height of the picking apparatus. The apparatus is further provided with limit switches to set the upper and lower limits of the picking apparatus, a limit action rod to operate the limit switches and contact pieces to set the upper and lower limit positions.
