PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a new washing and sorting apparatus for cultured shells, capable of being mounted on a ship, capable of being carried, assembled, and dismounted by a few number of people, and capable of conducting similitaneously washing and sorting according to a dimensional standard of the cultured shells. SOLUTION: In this washing and sorting apparatus for the cultured shells composed of a cylindrical washing drum 1, a lower frame body 2, and a upper cover frame 3, the washing drum 1 has many sorting holes 13, 13 which are bored thereon and a screw-shaped transfer blade 14 which is protrusively arranged on an inner surface from a charge end to a discharge end thereof, the lower frame body 2 is equipped with a charge hopper 23 and a discharge opening 26, and the upper cover frame 3 surrounds the upper part of the horizontally positioned washing drum 1 and is equipped with a water supply pipe 31 for supplying washing water, so that the washing drum 1 is horizontally positioned on the lower frame body 2 so as to be freely rotated around a horizontal shaft thereof and to be freely attached and detached, and the upper cover frame 3 is located over the washing drum 1 so as to be freely attached and detached.
