摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rotor torque predicting device which decreases the number of inputs required to predict rotor torque by simplifying an approach of algorithm for predicting the requirements of a rotor to an engine. SOLUTION: This device used for feed-forward prediction of the rotor torque determines total torque required by a main rotor and a tail rotor of a helicopter. This device comprises a polynomial neural network configured so as to predict aerodynamics torque in the main rotor and the tail rotor of the helicopter in motion based on an input by a plurality of operators and power-operated input; a main rotor load map for determining the torque in the main rotor at the hovering time when getting out of ground effects based on a main rotor speed and a collective control stick position; a tail rotor load map for determining the torque in the tail rotor of the helicopter during stopping based on the main rotor speed and a pedal position; and a processor for calculating the total torque required by the main rotor and the tail rotor by adding outputs of the polynomial neural network, the main rotor load map, and the tail rotor load map.
