PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a thermal lens analysis instrument that can accurately analyze solution samples. SOLUTION: In the enclosure 1 of this thermal lens analysis instrument 20, an ex laser 2 which emits exciting light, a laser 4 for probe which emits detection light, a chip 4 containing a solution sample, and a data processing system 10 connected to a lock-in amplifier 9 are arranged. A vibration sensor 11 is fixed to the chip 6 to detect the intensity of the vibration of the chip 6, and another vibration sensor 12 is fixed to the enclosure 1 to detect the intensity of the vibration of the enclosure 1. The sensors 11 and 12 are connected to the data processing system 10. The system 10 processes measurement data for analysis and, when the intensity of the vibration of the chip 6 is higher than a prescribed upper limit value, cancels the measurement data.
