PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a member being capable of being used even for a corrugated sheet at large pitches and being used for holding down a ridge at a low cost in a corrugated sheet roofing. SOLUTION: In the member, in which crest sections 21 and bottom sections 22 are repeatedly formed alternately and which is covered on the corrugated sheets 20 and 20 disposed on both sides of the ridge and used for holding down the ridge, in the corrugated sheet roofing, projecting sections 12 bent towards the bottom sections 22 are formed in response to the shape of the bottom sections 22 of the corrugated sheets 20 at both end sections on the eaves sides of a plate-shaped body section 11 formed in a chevron shape at a fixed ridge angleθ<SB>1</SB>.
