PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To accelerate natural generation of minus ions and to improve generated minus ion activation without use of expensive implements or the like requiring a high maintenance cost. SOLUTION: A pair of bar-shaped bodies 20 generating minus ions are arranged separately from each other along the nearly north east-south west direction Ra in the habitable space surrounded by an external wall, a floor, and a ceiling. The bar-shaped body is formed of a wooden material having the butt end-the top end direction of a tree as the axial line and each bar-shaped body is arranged to set the butt end downward and set the tip end upward. A pair of tabular bodies 30 generating minus ions are parallely laid so that the face of the tabular bodies 30 positions along nearly east-west direction, that is the direction crossing with nearly north east-south west direction. The tabular bodies are constituted of a wooden member having the axial line in the butt end-the top end direction. The pair of tabular bodies 30 are disposed so that the axial line is made horizontal and mutually different in the butt end-the top end direction. COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO
