FIELD: processes of application of molten coating to steel strip by its dipping into coating material melt, for instance, zinc or aluminum. SUBSTANCE: system has bath of coating molten metal in container having opening for strip passage found under upper surface of bath molten metal. Metal strip is directed along line running through opening for strip passage and through bath of coating molten metal for application of coating to strip. Used in system is electromagnet for prevention of exit of molten metal mass through opening for strip passage with simultaneous passage of strip through bath. System is also provided with means reducing loss of coating molten metal through opening for strip passage. EFFECT: provided keeping of mass of coating molten metal and reduced leakage or soaking of coating molten metal through opening for strip passage. 32 cl, 25 dwg
