PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a new adsorbent of a lipopolysaccharide and a use thereof. SOLUTION: The adsorbent of the lipopolysaccharide for absorbing the lipopolysaccharides of a gram negative bacterium such as a salmonella and a colon bacillus by fixing to form with absorbing or covalently bonding a compound having an amino group such as a polyethyleneimine or an imino group to a support such as polyester cloth, can be efficiently used for a detection method detecting the lipopolysaccharide in a specimen with a cloth-immunoassay.
