PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an absorbent article which can easily be deformed into a shape suitable for exhibiting absorbing performance and the shape of which can stably be kept while it is put on. SOLUTION: The absorbent article 1 is provided with a liquid-permeable surface sheet 2, a liquid-impermeable back surface sheet 3 and a liquid-holding absorber 4 placed between both these sheets and a sheet-like member 6 with elastic members 61 on its side edge part 62 is fixed on the back surface sheet 3 side by edge parts 63-65 except the side edge part 62 on which the elastic members 61 are arranged.
