PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a profile support system for producing strong connection and release of profile side parts. SOLUTION: A hollow profile support 10 having a polygonal cross section is provided with bridging pieces 18, 19, 20, 21 for quickly locking connecting elements on another profile support 10 along the edge at least one outside 14, 15, 16, 17 and inside corner grooves 23 are provided in the corner ranges. The bridging pieces 18, 19, 20, 21 can be expanded by deformation of the hollow profile support sides 14, 15, 16, 17 included between the grooves. Bridging pieces are disposed on the adjacent outsides 14, 16, 17 of the hollow profile support 10, and both bridging pieces 18, 19, 20, 21 include outside corner grooves 24 at the edges between the adjacent outsides 14, 16, 17 of the hollow profile support 10.
