PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a side panel for furniture interposed between two pieces of furniture installed adjacent to each other right and left. SOLUTION: This side panel is provided with a functional panel part extending upward above the height H1 of the furniture to have a height H2. A select plate selected from a functional plate having an electric connector and a fancy plate without an electric connector is fitted at least one of right and left side surfaces of the functional panel part, and a wiring line is formed extending downward from the functional panel part 4 in the side panel.
