PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a circuit breaker capable of being rapidly connected to a load side cable, capable of being connected to a power side conductive bar by binding in a blade support spring part, and capable of breaking a circuit by a bimetal when an over-current flows and by forcibly opening contacts by an electromagnetic drive part when a short-circuit occurs. SOLUTION: The electromagnetic drive part 47 comprises a fixed core 74 having a horizontal cross section formed in a channel shape, a movable core 58, and a leaf spring 73 for opposedly supporting the movable core 58 swingably on both end magnetic pole surfaces of the fixed core 74, and is fixed to the conductive plate 7.
