PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a gear device preventing base materials from contacting with each other, and enabling surface hardening treatment that provides no reduction in hardness. SOLUTION: A third wheel 108 is provided with a large gear 10, and a rotary shaft 30 mounted on the rotation center of the large gear 10, and a small gear 20 having the number of teeth smaller compared with that of the large gear 10 is integrally molded in a manner to be opposed to the large gear 10. The large gear 10 is a gear of a stainless steel having thickness (a size in a vertical direction in a drawing) being 0.14 mm, its module of 0.0776 mm, and the number of teeth being 75. A rotary shaft 30 is formed of a stainless steel and the small gear is a gear made of a stainless steel and having its module of 0.0815 mm. COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO
