PURPOSE: A post assembly for a luggage truck is provided to improve convenience, and to prevent loss or theft by opening the loading compartment completely without disassembling the post assembly with integrally forming the post assembly in the loading compartment. CONSTITUTION: A post assembly is composed of an outer post(10) having the long empty section; a gate fixing unit(20) installed in the upper part of the outer post to fasten the side gate; a folding unit(30) assembling the outer post in the loading compartment with folding; an inner post(40) inserted to the outer post and lifted up and down in the outer post by a fixing grip protruded through the slit formed in the outer post; and an inner post fitting groove(130) formed in the loading compartment contacted to the inner post. Inner and outer posts are fixed by fitting the inner post to the inner post fitting groove, and the post assembly is folded against the loading compartment in separating the inner post from the inner post fitting groove with lifting up.
