PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a leak defect inspecting device with enhanced inspection accuracy on leak defects due to defective adhesion, etc., of a bottom part, on an inspection line for paper cups, etc. SOLUTION: This inspection device is equipped with a rotary disk part having a multitude of recessed parts for mounting inspected objects on the periphery of a disk and having a multitude of inspection units for leak inspection, and a control panel part for controlling the whole of device. This device is characterized in that the inspection units each comprise an upper inspection fixture having a hollow part to be filled with pressurized air and a lower inspection fixture having a pressure sensor inside thereof for detecting leakage pressure leaking out of the bottom of the inspected object, and that the panel part is equipped with means for recording/processing measured data on leakage pressure leaking out of bottoms of a plurality of inspected objects for each of the inspection units and for inspecting the inspected objects based on reference values on leakage pressure for defective articles for each of the inspection units, the reference values being automatically calculated/set from the processed data.
