PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid crystal display device with the higher reliability.SOLUTION: A liquid crystal display device includes: a first substrate; a second substrate disposed opposite to the first substrate; a liquid crystal layer disposed between the first substrate and the second substrate and including liquid crystal molecules; a first alignment film provided for the first substrate and aligning the liquid crystal molecules; and a sealing material for attaching the first substrate and the second substrate to each other. The first alignment film is an optical alignment film. The sealing material contains an epoxy resin without an acrylate skeleton and a resin with an acrylate skeleton. The storage elastic modulus of the sealing material is 1.0×10Pa or more and 1.5×10Pa or less. At least a part of the sealing material is in contact with the first alignment film.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3 |
