RESIN MADE FLEXIBLE BOOT AND ITS MANUFACTURING METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a resin made flexible boot improves sustaining effect of suppression of abnormal noise occurrence and secures sealing property and durability. SOLUTION: The resin made flexible boot is formed using thermoplastic elastomer resin as a base resin material, and a large diameter opening is connected to a small diameter opening through a bellows. Mineral oil or vegetable oil is added to the thermoplastic elastomer resin. The thermoplastic elastomer resin is preferably thermoplastic polyester elastomer, and the mineral oil is preferably process oil with an aromatic component content of 13% or less. The resin made flexible boot is used as a flexible boot for covering constant velocity joint of an automobile. COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO
