PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable suppression of needless power consumption of a motion sensor of a remote controller.SOLUTION: A remote controller 2 includes a motion sensor 63 for detecting an amount of posture variation of the remote controller 2, user input means for obtaining a user input signal of a format other than the amount of posture variation, and a power supply control circuit 66 for controlling power supply to the motion sensor 63. A UI generation circuit 36 of a main device 1 has a first mode which is operable based on the amount of posture variation of the remote controller, and a second mode which is operable according to the user input signal. The control circuit 31 of the main device 1 transmits to the remote controller 2 a control signal for stopping power supply to the motion sensor 63 when receiving the amount of posture variation of the remote controller 2 while the UI generation circuit 36 is in the second mode.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
