PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a bearing for a main motor of a railway vehicle capable of elongating grease life.SOLUTION: In a bearing device including (1) an outer ring having an outer ring rolling face on an inner peripheral face and composed of a steel, (2) an inner ring having an inner ring rolling face on its outer peripheral face, disposed at an inner side of the outer ring so that the inner ring rolling face is opposed to the outer ring rolling face, and composed of a steel, (3) a plurality of rolling elements kept into contact with the outer ring rolling face and the inner ring rolling face, and arranged on an annular raceway, and (4) a cage for retaining the plurality of rolling elements at prescribed pitches in a circumferential direction, the rolling elements and the cage are composed of iron-based metallic materials, and a surface of the cage has a cross-linked fluorine resin coating.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 11 |
