PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a thin optical film that can be excellently bonded to a polarizer with either water paste or active ray curable adhesive, and has a high optical compensation function, a method of producing the same, and a polarizing plate and a liquid crystal display device each of which comprises the optical film and therefore has a high contrast.SOLUTION: An optical film has a cycloolefin resin, and an oligomer of an aromatic vinyl compound with a weight average molecular weight of 1000-25000.SELECTED DRAWING: None |
