PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To secure countermeasures on security for an illegal operation or the like, and to secure continuity in a procedure of a task by a simple operation without requiring any complicate setting operation even in the case of singly using a transaction processing device for at least one procedure of merchandise registration processing and settlement processing.SOLUTION: A transaction processing device includes: an application control unit capable of executing at least one of a settlement application and a task application; and an authentication unit for connecting and authenticating communication between at least one peripheral equipment to be used for the settlement application or the task application and a docking device to which the peripheral equipment is connected. The application control unit is configured to, when a user who has a specific authority in the transaction processing device is not yet logged in after authentication is not established due to the removal of the transaction processing device from the docking device, set the transaction processing device to a first operation restriction state that an operation to a specific application between the settlement application and the task application is restricted.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 11 |
