METHOD FOR AUTHENTICATING NETWORK SERVICE IN HOME GATEWAY AND METHOD FOR RELAYING AUTHENTICATION PROCESS

PURPOSE: A method for authenticating a network service in a hone gateway and a method relaying an authentication process are provided to prevent effectively an illegal copy by using the home gateway. CONSTITUTION: An information instrument connected to a hole network requests a network service(402). A home gateway is connected to a relay system through internet(404). The requested service and the user information of the home gateway are transmitted to a service provision system through the relay system(406). The service provision system provides the requested service information and the corresponding certificate through the relay system(408). The certificate is stored in the home gateway and the requested service is provided to the corresponding information instrument(410).
