PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To efficiently order and distribute oil to be injected into a tank. SOLUTION: The tank liquid amount management system 10 comprises liquid level sensors 12a to 12z arranged in tanks of customers A to Z, signal transmission units 14a to 14z connected to the liquid level sensors 12a to 12z, and a host computer 18 at an access center which is connected to the signal transmission units 14a to 14z through a communication network 16. When transmit data 37 based upon detection signals from the liquid crystal sensors 12a<SB>1</SB>to 12a<SB>3</SB>of the respective customers are sent to the host computer 18 at the access center, the tank liquid amount management system 10 automatically sends distribution data 44 from the host computer 18 to a terminal device 22 for distribution management at a distribution company and a portable telephone set 24 of a person in charge of distribution. Consequently, the time needed until the distribution data 44 reach the driver of a tank truck from a customer is shortened to increase distribution efficiency. COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO
