PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the occurrence of image flowing, to improve the transfer efficiency of toner and cleaning performing, also, to obtain an image of high density in a liquid-developing type image forming apparatus, and also, to eliminate the occurrence of a crack in a surface protective layer at the end part of a photoreceptor. SOLUTION: The photoreceptor 1 is constituted by arranging an organic photosensitive layer 3 and the surface protective layer 4 made of amorphous silicon carbide on a base board 2, the surface protective layer 4 contains fluorine, and the surface free energy is set to be 10 to 40 mN/m, and the membrane stress is set to be≤9×10<SP>7</SP>N/m<SP>2</SP>.
