PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an analyzing method capable of inexpensively measuring biomacromolecules immobilized on carriers of various shapes such as a substrate, a bead, and especially, fiber, and a carrier for immobilized biomacromolecules applicable to mass production. SOLUTION: In this analyzing method, biomacromolecules are immobilized on a surface of a carrier and molecules having an affinity to the biomacromolecules are detected and identified. This analyzing method uses a carrier for immobilized biomacromolecules characterized in that the surface of the carrier has a polymer having at least one structural unit expressed by the following general expression and that a linker having an affinity to the polymer is given to the biomacromolecules.
