PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To accurately detect a code of n bit by n pieces of ABS detecting parts when an ABS track is one. SOLUTION: When an INC value is not greater than j, or not less than k, output signals from each of the ABS detecting parts are binarized based on a threshold h, and binarized based on a threshold 1. An ABS value detecting part 24 sets a bit to be H when the bit is determined as H, or sets a bit L when the bit is determined as L according to the both threshold values. The ABS value detecting part 24 then determines low order bits as H or L, because low order bits have the same code of the bit whose code has already determined when the INC value is not greater than j. When the INC value is not less than k, the ABS value detecting part 24 then determines high order bits as H or L, because high order bits have the same code of the bit whose code has already determined.
