PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To operate a refrigeration unit at a low cost by reducing energy consumed by an evaporator fan. SOLUTION: The evaporator fan equipped in this refrigeration unit for a container has a airfoil vane with maximum vane thickness and maximum warp of the airfoil vane center line in a distance range between 0.35L and 0.45L in the vane chord direction from the leading edge, where the vane chord length is L.
