FIELD: medicine, otolaryngology. ^ SUBSTANCE: the suggested method deals with affecting the muscles of soft palate and posterior palatine arches. Before the seance it is necessary to prepare the patient for further procedures: to remove food residues from laryngeal ligaments it is necessary to rinse the throat with distilled water followed by massage with circular movements and slight pressing upon neck's muscles and fascias starting from mylohyoid muscle then through stylohyoid, thyrohyoid, omohyoid, sternohyoid and sternothyroid muscles. Moreover, the process should be repeated in reverse sequence. Massage should be fulfilled during 4 seances, each lasts for 20 min. The innovation provides comfort body state in patients, shortens terms of rehabilitation and enables to carry out therapy under out-patient conditions. ^ EFFECT: higher efficiency of therapy. ^ 1 cl, 2 ex |
