PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a six-way switching valve which smoothly switches among water cleaning operation, backward washing operation and washing operation with one valve unit. SOLUTION: The six-way switching valve is provided with a valve casing 21, a first to a sixth external connection port 51 to 56, a first to a fifth flow passage 81 to 86, a first to third rotary type valve elements 29, 33, 47 and electric motors 77, 79 switching a first to a third valve element 29, 33, 47 to the predetermined modes, and has compact switching functions. The six-way switching valve is mounted to the filter at a raw water supply port and a processing water outlet and the smooth switching among the normal water cleaning operation, backward washing operation by raw water and washing operation is made with the only one valve unit by switching each valve element 29, 33, 47 according to the switching modes having the raw water flow in from the first external connection port.
