PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vibration control device that can reduce manufacturing costs by facilitating positioning when two cylinder heads are mounted in a cylinder tube and reducing the number of parts. SOLUTION: The vibration control device couples both ends of a damping device comprising a brace 9 and a damper 8 connected in series, to a column, a beam or the like of a structure. The cylinder head 12b constituting the damper 8 has a flange portion 20, and an inner wall of the cylinder tube 6 in a position corresponding to the flange portion 20 of the cylinder head has a step portion 21. The flange portion 20 and the step portion 21 abut each other. A tip of a spacer 23 inserted between a clevis pipe 3 closing a back end of the cylinder tube 6 and the cylinder head 12b supports the flange portion 20 of the cylinder head to hold the cylinder head 12b in the cylinder tube 6.
