PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a connecting device improved in its usability which connects both members with proper fastening margins without worrying about positional relationship to both members to be connected. SOLUTION: Cylindrical members 7, 8 are alternately rotated by a proper amount in specific directions. For example, when the cylindrical member 7 is rotated, a head part 5a of a rod member 5 is engaged with an eccentric cam raceway part 7a<SB>2</SB>of the cylindrical member 7 in interlocking with the rotation of the cylindrical member 7, and simultaneously a head part 6a of the rod member 6 is engaged with an eccentric cam raceway part 7a<SB>2</SB>of the cylindrical member 7, and the rod members 5, 6 are retracted into a vertical frame member 3 in accordance with the progress of the engagement. By repeating this procedure on the cylindrical members 7, 8, the vertical frame member 3 and a lateral frame member 4 are abutted on each other, the cylindrical members 7, 8 are rotated to, for example, and a position where the head part 5a is locked by the eccentric cam raceway part 7a<SB>2</SB>to complete the connection of both members 3, 4.
