发明名称 ALLOY POWDER SURFACE TREATMENT METHOD AND DUST CORE
摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the core loss of a dust core obtained by compression- molding soft magnetic alloy powder, and to improve its frequency characteristics. SOLUTION: A silica film or silica fine particles are attached on the surface of the soft magnetic alloy powder, by the use of alkyl silicate so as to form an insulating layer. By this setup, the resistivity of the dust core is increased, and its eddy current loss is reduced, so that the core loss is decreased and the frequency characteristics are improved. The insulating layer is formed through such a simple method wherein a solution comprising water or an organic solvent and alkyl silicate dissolved into it is added to the soft magnetic alloy powder and uniformly mixed into a mixture, and the mixture is treated thermally.
