PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a display device capable of easily and handily switching various functions thereof, and simply resetting them all together to the ordinary states set originally. SOLUTION: The display device for luminously displaying characters, pictorial symbols, or the like by making a plurality of light emitting elements arranged on a display part selectively emit light, is provided with a remote controller for inputting various kinds of data concerning display contents and display functions, and this remote controller is provided with keys for inputting temporarily effective data thereto by direct operation. When the temporarily effective data are inputted from the remote controller, the display part side is arranged so as to register them as temporary set data. Moreover, the display device is arranged so that the set data registered to be temporarily effective are reset all together to the initial state before setting the temporary data.
