PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rosette by which two cables can be connected with little possibility of damaging the cables and without spoiling the appearance, even in cases where the rosette is installed in curved parts such as reentrant/ external angles in the building. SOLUTION: An optical fiber Fa held in a mechanical splice 10a is fixed at one opening of the housing 20, and similarly a fiber Fb held in a mechanical splice 10b is fixed at the other opening of the housing 20. Then, inside the rosette R having a right-angled part in the outward form, an optical signal outgoing from the fiber Fa is emitted to an optical element 30 through a fiber Fc, with the reflected optical signal reaching the cut end of a fiber Fd, so that the optical signal is propagated to the fiber Fb through the fiber Fd; thus, the fibers Fa and Fb are optically connected.
