PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sterilized ice manufacturing method for uniformly and reliably enclosing unstable hypochlorous acid in ice by using a device for making a large volume of ice in an ice-making factory, maintaining the sterilizing effect for a long time when ice begins to melt, and maintaining foods with excellent freshness at a low manufacturing cost. SOLUTION: Mixed liquid 1 is prepared by adding acids such as hydrochloric acid and acetic acid and sodium hypochlorite to neural water. This mixed liquid 1 is poured in an ice making frame 2. The ice-making frame 2 is submerged in an ice making pool 4 with an anti-freeze liquid 3 cooled below the freezing point circulating therein, and ice is made with the mixed liquid 1 in a standstill condition. In this ice-making step, ice is made while uniforming the concentration of the mixed liquid 1 by intermittently agitating a mixed liquid pool 6 in a non-frozen center portion by a pump 7, and the obtained block-like sterilized ice 10 is crushed by a crusher.
