PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ophthalmologic photographing apparatus in which an image of an eye to be examined is obtained on the basis of an optimal white balance for observation and photographing in accordance with the kinds of light sources. SOLUTION: In the ophthalmologic photographing apparatus in which the eye to be examined is irradiated with light from the light source for observation or the light from a light source for photographing, reflected light from the eye to be examined is guided through an optical observation system within an ophthalmologic photographing apparatus main body to a photographing means having a color area CCD 30a as an imaging device by the irradiation, the image of the eye to be examined is formed in the color area CCD 30a to photograph the image of the eye to be examined, and the image of the eye to be examined is displayed on an image display device on the basis of an image pickup signal from the imaging device, the ophthalmologic photographing apparatus has a light source mode setting switch 81 for setting the combination of the light source for observation and the light source for photographing in the case of observation and photographing and a white balance control circuit 91 for controlling the white balance corresponding to each of the set light sources for observation and for photographing on the basis of setting by the light source mode setting switch 81.
