PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a stand for liquid crystal display which maintains stability even when the liquid crystal display is inclined to an elevation angle and a depression angle by rotating the liquid crystal display in upward and downward directions, of which the manufacturing costs are reduced by simplifying the number of components and structure and by which the liquid crystal display is rotated and stopped in any direction of 360°irrespective of the rotation angle in the vertical direction. SOLUTION: The stand for liquid crystal display is provided with a columnar support erected on a base or an elevation means, an installation means 13, a movable bracket 18 on which both side plate parts of the installation means are slidably installed, a constant load power spring 40 that slides the movable bracket, and an installation plate. The supporting position of the movable bracket to the installation member is changed according the inclination angle of the movable bracket, or the installation plate is installed so as to be freely rotated and stopped in the vertical direction and is provided with a stopping means for stopping the rotation of the installation plate at a prescribed angle.
