PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lens of high quality which is manufactured at a low cost and which can be supplied in a good yield, to provide a method of manufacturing the lens, a device for manufacturing the lens, an optical device, an optical pickup device, an optical communication device, an optical sensor device and a laser beam printer device. SOLUTION: The lens has such a structure that the inner part of the effective diameter of the lens 101 can be visually distinguished from the external part of the effective diameter.
