PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a heater structure capable of securing the degree of cleanness in furnace environment required for drying and firing a large sized substrate such as a glass substrate used for PDP, preventing a heat leak out of the furnace and the entry of dust, and contributing to simplification of maintenance. SOLUTION: Electric heaters 2 having heating elements inside the heat insulating elements are assembled together side by side in the heater structure.
