PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a new variable lever tumbler lock for which the key differences can be easily and definitely changed. SOLUTION: The lever tumbler 11 is made as a combination of a tumbler A11A and a tumbler B11B which are almost C-shaped and superimposed each other; a linking portion 16 with the key groove of a duplicate key is formed for the tumbler A; this is exerted in a direction interfering with the duplicate key; also an unlocking notch 9 is formed to the tumbler B; on the other hand, a linking projection 18 is formed at a free end portion of the tumbler A, a plurality of linking recessed portions 19 are formed on a circular arc with the strut shaft at the center of the tumbler B, and key difference can be created by changing the combinations of these linkages. For accurately determining the angle position during normal state of a movable strut shaft, a V-shaped strut shaft stopper 34 opened to the inner side is placed so as to face the strut shaft for at least one of a key guide, partition board or tail plug.
