HIGH STRENGTH BOLT TENSILE JOINT AND SUPPORT JOINT IN TRUSS, NODULAR POINT FOLLOWING THE JOINTS, AND MEMBER CONSTITUTION METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To arrange high tension bolts in the same direction with the axial stress in the joint of a truss and to provide a member constitution and the structure of a nodular point caused by the arrangement. SOLUTION: An end plate with a sign 3 is welded to the end of a member and a high strength bolt with a sign 2 is fastened after it has passed through an end plate and a bolt hole bored in a shim plate with a sign 4. When the sectional area is insufficient as a problem caused thereby, the structure is reinforced by a plate with a sign 14. When the difference of the adjacent section dimension is small in the joint, a large member is constricted to meet a small member. When the difference is large, a plate with a sign 9 or a rib with a sign 11 is provided in a gusset with a sign 6 to transmit the axial stress. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
