PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a divided pipe safely carried by appropriately retaining a cover part and surely connecting the cover part to a gutter part and to provide a connecting method for the divided pipe. SOLUTION: A cover part 1b of a primary jacking pipe 1 halved into the gutter part 1a and the cover part 1b is provided with an interlock mechanism 100 comprising a fitting hole 10, projecting parts 19a and 19b, a rotation key 13 formed with a hole 11 for a hexagonal wrench, a link mechanism 15, and lock parts 17a and 17b. Lug parts 59a and 59b of a robot arm 5 are hung to the projecting pats 19a and 19b to retain the cover part 1b, the cover part 1b is inserted and fitted into an opening part 1c of the gutter part 1a, the hexagonal wrench 61 of the robot arm is rotated, and the lock parts 17a and 17b are operated into a second state via the link mechanism 15 to engage the lock parts 17a and 17b with a connecting step part 1e of the gutter part, so that the gutter part 1a and the cover part 1b are connected to each other.
